Medium density fiberboard is an engineered wood product made from wood fibers, combined with wax and resin binders under pressure and high temperature. Denser than plywood but easy to shape, sand, machine and finish. MDF may be glued, doweled or laminated.

- Excellent for veneers
- Superlite: 1/3 lighter than regular MDF
